She's Got a Mouthful to Say
Say hello to Barbara Maitland—but maybe don’t stare directly at her face. This life-size Beetlejuice Barbara Animatronic captures that unforgettable “stretch-your-face-and-shove-your-eyes-to-the-back” look that’s equal parts iconic and "should I be concerned?" Perfect for fans who want their Halloween display to scream (literally) with screen-accurate horror and a dash of 1980s charm.
With her ghostly getup, jerky movements, and unsettlingly chipper delivery of nine movie lines, Barbara’s here to haunt your hallway, startle your guests, and maybe read you a bedtime story from the Handbook for the Recently Deceased. She’s horrifying, she's hilarious, and she's ready for her big resurrection.
Design & Details
Standing at an eerie 5 feet 7 inches, this officially licensed animatronic features a plastic head in full “scary face” mode, polyester fabric clothing, and a metal stand to keep Barbara upright while she gets her haunt on. Her head moves side to side while one arm thrusts her creepy little book forward like she’s trying to explain death’s fine print. Bonus: the zipper on the back of the dress adds a fun (and mildly disturbing) detail for Beetlejuice diehards.
Activate Barbara via motion sensor or the Try Me button—both powered by 4 AA batteries (sold separately)—or use a step pad (also sold separately) to catch the living off guard. Volume control lets you set her scare level, and she’s suitable for indoor or sheltered outdoor displays (she may be undead, but she still doesn't like rain). If you're plugging her in outside the U.S., an adapter may be needed.
Frighteningly Familiar
It’s showtime for Barbara! From the twisted mind of Tim Burton to the front porch of your suburban home, she’s here to remind everyone why Beetlejuice became a Halloween staple.
