Sabretooth Swagger
Some heroes wear capes. Others? They wear bright yellow spandex and a helmet shaped like a prehistoric cat. The Yellow Ranger always had a knack for being fierce and fast, and this costume captures every bit of that original Mighty Morphin magic. Slip into this suit, and suddenly it makes perfect sense why they spent half the show in slow-motion jump kicks. (You might spend way too much time trying to recreate those scenes from the show while wearing it.)
There’s something empowering about a look that says “I’m here to save the city” and also “I can high-kick my way out of a bad date.” The color is bold, the fit is sleek, and the vibe is pure 90s Saturday morning TV glory.
Design & Details
The jumpsuit, spats, and wrist guards are crafted from a shiny 4-way stretch spandex blend, so you can throw your best Ranger poses without feeling like you’re in a polyester prison. The yellow-and-white diamond pattern matches the original Sabretooth Tiger suit from the show, and the back zipper keeps the lines smooth. Foam-backed gloves, spats, wrist guards, and belt keep their shape through battles with Putties or dramatic hallway struts.
The belt is fitted with a Morphin Badge featuring the Sabretooth Tiger emblem, giving you instant street cred in Angel Grove. The helmet is molded plastic in two pieces that snap together, creating the glossy visor-and-mouthplate combo that feels straight off the TV screen.

The neck is not even sewed and has a hole. I noticed when I went to hang it up so it wasn't wrinkled. This is the review for the medium. This costume is okay. The main bodysuit is fairly forgiving and stretchy. Except between the legs so it won't go over your shoulders if your body is to long. One of the bracers was completely unfinished. The diamond patterns are all cut very sloppy and sewn on with no regard for them being spaced correctly. Some over lap some have a gap and some are crooked. This costume has loose threads everywhere. The gloves are made sloppy. The belt is not hip measurements and is about 30 inches, it is not stretchy at all. The black pinstriping is very sloppy on the belt and noticeable from a distance. The jumpsuit length is a lot shorter than was listed. I'm 5'4" and 115lbs, the small was way to short from the inner thighs to my shoulders. The medium was just long enough to not pull between the legs to tightly. The helmet for the medium was a little smashed on one side. I tried to push it back out and form it correctly. The helmet Velcro doesn't stick together very well. I am allowing it to set out so I hope it regains its shape. It is just flimsy plastic, but looks fairly accurate. The company is suppose to be sending me another set of bracers since they are unfinished. Overall be prepared to make some alterations and order a size bigger than the size chart. I will have to make my own belt this one isn't useable. I wear a size 2 American Eagle jean and this belt only fits if I set it up really high on my waist. This was the second power ranger costume and one was clearly made with more care than the other. If a little more time was spent on them, they would be amazing. The material they have chosen is thin but perfect. I am wearing a body suit under mine.Was this review helpful to you?
