Who Let the Upside Down In?
Want to make your yard look like Hawkins in the height of its creepiest happenings? This Animatronic Stranger Things Demogorgon Decoration isn't playing around. It's tall. It's terrifying. And yes, it moves and makes those unmistakable nightmare-fueling screeches straight from the show. At eight feet tall, it's the kind of thing that will make your neighbors feel like they entered a portal to the Upside Down.
Design & Details
Standing at a monstrous height, this animatronic Demogorgon features a metal support frame, detailed plastic limbs, and polyester fabric accents for a horrifyingly lifelike finish. The head and chest are sculpted to match the onscreen look, complete with that open-flower face and deeply unfortunate skin tone. It moves side to side at the waist and emits unsettling Stranger Things sound effects, with volume control included for adjusting from "eerie ambiance" to "just plain nope!"
It includes motion sensor activation, a try-me button, and compatibility with a separately sold step pad. Designed for indoor or covered outdoor use, it should not be exposed directly to rain, because even nightmare creatures deserve proper care. When using outdoors, plug it into a GFCI outlet for added safety. Note: International fans may require an adapter (not included) for the plug.
Your House, But Stranger
This decoration is a pure expression of fandom and fear. With its hulking frame, creepy movements, and screen-accurate detail, this animatronic Demogorgon brings the horror of Hawkins right to the centerpiece of your setup. Good luck sleeping after this one.

And is he posable so he could be posed a little shorter? The ceiling in my room is shorter than 8ft, hence my inquiry. (1 Answer)

This prop is amazing-the attention to detail is frickin’ sick! I love the fact that there are eyebolts for tethers/stakes built in to both sides of the hips-coming from a very windy climate and years of having props tip over and learning what to do/not to do, this thing is solid and will be easy to keep up. Please keep doing this with your props! Love it!Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. Was this review helpful to you? - A must from Stranger Things fansBy Pablo | September 27, 2025
The prop is bada** , it pretty big so if you have low ceilings build it outside. As for the instructions, they are really vague so I suggest you go by the picture on the cover. It will serve you a whole lot better, but overall it’s a straight forward build. Like I said in the beginning the prop is cool and a great piece to add to you animatronic collection and if your a stranger things fan it definitely a must have. If you're thinking about getting it stop thinking and just get it.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. Was this review helpful to you?
