She carried a pocketbook like a weapon and delivered a one-liner faster than anyone could blink. Jealous? Well, don't be. Just slip into this Golden Girls Sophia Costume and channel her sarcastic wit and iconic outerwear!
Design & Details
The costume includes a red collarless jacket in poly poplin fabric, trimmed in red grosgrain bias tape along every edge. Four pockets, gold plastic shank buttons, and floral chiffon cuffs with scallop lace trim give the jacket a layered, put-together look. The matching A-line red skirt hits knee length with an elastic back waistband for comfort.
A floral print chiffon dickey with a ruffled, lace-trimmed collar hooks at the back neck and ties at the waist, creating the appearance of a full blouse underneath. The short, tightly curled white wig captures Sophia's signature volume. Gold-rimmed glasses with an attached chain complete the look.
