That is a responsibility you should take seriously. Luckily, the costume does most of the heavy lifting.
This is a fully inflatable bodysuit made from 100% polyester windbreaker fabric, and it captures the iconic look right down to the sailor collar, hat, and that cheerful little wave. A built-in fan keeps the whole thing inflated and running off four AA batteries stored in a conveniently hidden pocket near the fan at your right hip.

The head is fully enclosed with a mesh-covered viewport through the character's mouth, so you can see where you're going even while looking completely unhinged. The zipper runs up the back, hands are fully enclosed, and hidden elastic at the ankles tucks neatly under attached shoe covers for a clean, polished silhouette from every angle.
The battery pack fits into an inner pocket near the fan and includes a clip to attach to your clothing inside the suit if you'd like extra security. Four AA batteries are required but not included, so stock up before the big night. This is an officially licensed Ghostbusters costume, so the details are true to the original.
