Pennywise Is Waiting Down Here
The Men's 2017 IT Pennywise Costume is an officially licensed adult costume that includes a shirt, pants, collar, gloves, and a latex mask based on the iconic clown from the 2017 film. Stephen King's most unsettling creation has a very particular look, and this set covers it from the ruffled collar down to the ankle cuffs.
The thing about Pennywise is that the costume has to be right. Nobody floats away impressed by a half-effort clown. The pleated chiffon sleeves, the red poms, the layered collar — all the details are here. The only decision left is whether to stand silently in a doorway or lean fully into the balloon-offering routine.
Design & Details
The in-house design team clearly did their homework on this one — the stretch sateen shirt features pleated chiffon sleeves with elastic bands and red poms across the front, with a hook and loop fastener in the back. The pants have an elastic waistband and ruffled ankle cuffs, and the layered chiffon collar closes the same way. Jersey knit gloves with wrist elastic bands round out the ensemble.
The latex mask is the centerpiece. It's highly detailed with faux hair and a finish that earns the "IT" source material. Note that the mask package is non-returnable once opened, which is either a very reasonable policy or further proof that Pennywise operates by his own rules.
