Keeping a daydreaming mermaid princess in line is no easy task. Just ask Disney's Sebastian. As a high-ranking official in Triton's court, he was regularly assigned to babysit the king's precocious daughter essentially. But as well as Sebastian understood the weight of his responsibility and what he'd need to do to keep Ariel safe, we think a few other individuals would understand things even better.
Like, a toddler! With all the energy of a curious-minded Mermaid and the ability to dictate everyone's schedule, a toddler would be more than capable of keeping Ariel in line. Best part? They'd make it fun, singing along to every song and dancing with their mermaid ward! Worst case? They'd encourage Ariel's dreamy plans instead of keeping her underwater. Either way, a toddler is best suited for the role!
Design & Details
Whether you're planning a family group costume based on Disney's The Little Mermaid or indulging your toddler's assertive personality, this Made By Us Sebastian Costume has you covered! The officially licensed ensemble starts with a long-sleeve jumpsuit that secures in the back. A sleeveless tunic slips over the jumpsuit to add Sebastian's belly to the look. Meanwhile, hook-and-loop fastener strips on the back of the tunic allow an included soft-sculpted shell to be attached. Sebastian's claws are featured as attached appendages to the pullover tunic, shoe covers, and a pair of mittens. An accompanying hood with embroidered facial features completes the outfit.
