How the Grinch Stole Christmas Costumes

"I must stop this whole thing! Why, for fifty-three years I've put up with it now. I must stop Christmas from coming... but how?"

Near the top of the mountain that looks over Whoville lives someone who hates the holiday season more than anyone, the Grinch. This green fellow has spent year after year watching the Whos have their celebrations with their packages and presents with ribbons and strings. One Christmas the Grinch had enough and decided that it would be up to him to get rid of the festive holiday by stealing every Christmas item from the town Whoville. He stole all the presents, the trees, the toys, and even the holiday roast beast. After his night of taking all he could something happened to the Grinch, something affected him that cause his cold, dark heart to grown three sizes larger that day. The Grinch then brought Christmas back to the Whos and made everyone excited and happy including little Cindy Lou Who.

The story of the Grinch has been shared by families every Christmas season since it was first published in 1957. People have enjoyed reading the classic book by Dr. Seuss and also watching the cartoon special from the '60s as well as the life action movie in 2000.
