Clowns have a reputation for blending humor and terror, and this creepy balloon toting soul-eater leans into it hard. Those yellow eyes track the room. That ragged grin never softens. He holds his glowing balloon like it's a trophy from somewhere you don't want to know about, and the laughter that comes out of him sounds like it was recorded at the intersection of a carnival and a crime scene. Design & Details
Standing 80 inches tall, he towers over trick-or-treaters in a black and white striped clown suit with ragged, weathered features. His head turns left and right, scanning the scene like he's looking for something. Yellow light-up eyes glow from behind that frozen grin, and his hands pulse with the same eerie yellow light. The balloon he holds glows too, completing the effect.
The Soul Snatcher plugs into a standard outlet and runs on his own from there. Creepy clown laughter and atmospheric sounds play automatically, layering the audio dread onto the visual. At nearly seven feet tall, he commands the space around him without any help from you.

You know how you order the burger from the menu and when it comes to your table it looks much smaller and pathetic than the picture on the menu?
Yeah, that's how most animatronics are. You watch the videos and it's like they were produced by Wes Craven. Killer lights, audio, and cinematography. Then you open the box and the clothes are wrinkled. The whole thing weighs about three pounds and somehow couldn't possibly be cheaper. Instead of a booming voice your animatronic is speaking through a headphone speaker.
Enter the Soul Snatching Clown. This one is the opposite. It's like Apple built it. The box is nice. The cables are all a little thicker. The clothes are like parachute material so they don't wrinkle as much. Everything is cooler than the video. That, my friends, is a very welcome change. This one is the real thing. It's what you've been hoping you would get all along. The thought of a clown stealing your soul is terrifying, this clown is really creepy. I love the light up hand and balloon. His voice is spot on for a clown like this. For the money this guy is great. Most animtronics this year available in my area only do 2 things when active. This guys head turns, tilts and his jaw moves. His left arm raises and his hand lights up then casts soles to his balloon all while speaking 3 different phrases.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?
