What does an iconic character need? That's easy! A signature look, a signature walk, and if they're really someone, they'll have a signature song! If you want to toon into your iconic side, you might want to start thinking about your theme song. That's going to set the tone as soon as you slip out from behind the proverbial red velvet curtain. Would you pick a sultry blues number fit for a smoky burlesque show? Or would your song be a modern number that would fit perfectly into a TikTok clip? You know how to walk the walk, you know what style to wear. Now all you have to do is order the dress and make a playlist of possible songs to make your grand debut even more memorable!
Design & Details
When designing this gown, our in-house creative team was careful to pick out the perfect fabric. That's how they decided on a stretch knit base with a mesh sequin overlay to make sure the dress hugged every curve without stressing the sequin's hold on the fabric. The boned bodice has a decorative corset in back and a hidden zipper in the side seam to make slipping into the structured top simple. While this ensemble might look like one dress, the skirt actually slips on separately, making it fit you like an elbow-length satin glove. With a thigh-high slit and silky gloves, there's no doubt who you are as soon as you show up in this iconic look!
No Tooning Out
Now that you have the look, there's no backing down. Only those with a flair for drama are drawn for this costume! Top this look off with sultry red, wavy hair that cascades over one eye and a long cigarette holder and you'll be ready to take to the stage!

Pros:
- Skirt fits where it needs to to create the signature thigh-high slit
-Gloves are comfortable to put on, wear, and remove. No lack of circulation in MY house!
-Thick zippers are easy to find and utilize
-The satin layer in the skirt is so comfortable on my skin!!!
-The sequins really sell the outfit to look like a one-piece dress!
Cons:
-Short Queens like myself will need to hem the skirt accordingly upon arrival, but it shouldn't be too big of a deal (The website DOES provide the measurements for all the items, so I'm just saying what's in my experience)
-Corset ribbon is too short in length to fill out the eyelets (It got the top half on my body while the lower half spread like harpy wings) when I loosen it, so go to the store and get something longer and re-lace it yourself
-When corset is loosened, the modesty panel in the back is too short and doesn't make it all the way across the back, so be prepared to either extend the panel or fill it in with an undergarment of some kind, like red shapewear
-Be prepared to see and clean up loose sequins on the floor from all of the friction and movement (Choking hazard for small children and animals). There are a few on my bedroom floor now from trying on the costume and examining what needs fixing
For all the notes I've pointed out, I'm genuinely happy with the costume! The folks who designed and made it deserve all the credit for making a fun and daring outfit! I'm absolutely going to buy again from this website.
