Honestly? This Padme Amidala costume is way better than I expected! The sizing is actually inclusive (a rare miracle in the galaxy), and the headpiece, which, let’s be real, totally delivers. I put it on and immediately felt like I should be addressing the Galactic Senate. The quality of this costume is out of this world! The fit is great, and it's so fun to wear! The headpiece was lightweight and ornate, however it is hollow so the brown part was squished in transit and was hard to pop back out.
I ended up cutting it open, stuffing it with fluff and adding fake hair to make it more authentic. I also embroidered the collar and tabard. The plush backing added to the quilted look of the original costume from the movie.

Height 5’ 6” | Size 3XThe costume looks baller and it’s really comfy to wear. Its pretty long to get the splay, I’m a little worried to wear to a high traffic convention but I think I’ll do some retrofitting to avoid it getting stepped on. Height 5'11" | Weight 275 | Size 1XBought this out of curiosity, the dress is great and easy to put on, comfortable to wear as well. I like that it has wire in the base to keep the round shape... The crown shape and paint is very detailed and screen accurate and lightweight however mine came in bent and the hair bun is hollow so it gets creases very easily, also, the brown paint on the hair is rubbing off very easily. Which is disappointing considering the price. I do plan to use the crown as a base for customization so I will be wrapping real wig hair around it, it also does fit my head a little too small.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?
