Vics of Megadeth Past
Vic Rattlehead has seen some stuff, man. He first showed up on Megadeth's album Last Rites. The poor dude has no skin and they've chained up his ears, given him some metal shades so he can't see, and they even chained up his mouth, so he can't speak. Over the years, we've seen an evolution of the character, appearing on each Megadeth album cover. He was trying to sell real estate in a war-torn hellscape in Peace Sells... But Who's Buying. He was a gun-toting soldier on the moon for his appearance on So Far, So Good... So What! He truly is a skeleton of many talents...
Now you can carry on the amazing legacy of Megadeth's mascot by wearing this Megadeth Vic Rattlehead Mask. It's officially licensed from the metal band and is made out of molded latex. It's a full mask, with eye slits in the front. It even features his metallic shades. Plastic chains are attached to the sides near the ears and the mouth has large plastic hooks attached to the mouth. Just wear it with a suit and you can see if you can sell peace to the world... we're still not sure who's buying though!
- OUTSTANDING MEGADETH MASKBy Anonymous | July 5, 2021Anyone who is remotely familiar with the iconic thrash metal group Megadeth is keenly aware of who the mascot Vic Rattlehead is and what he's about.
This is a magnificent show-piece for fans of the band. The chains and mouth hooks are a sturdy plastic design and the detailing of this mask is very well done. It's not easy to see through the eye-slits, but then again, this is more of a collector's piece than a functional mask (although I did wear it for a bit on Halloween).
This is a good price for such a killer item to show off your Megadeth pride. \m/Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. Was this review helpful to you?
