Inspired by the classic Headless Horseman tales, this terrifying decoration captures the ture essence of the villain in a creepy animatronic. The piece is draped in dark red clothing and wears a jagged black cape. He holds a smaller axe in one hand, with an eerie Jack-o-Lantern in the other hand. Of course, no head sits atop his shoulders, because what would be scary about a normal-looking head on his shoulders?
The best part about this decoration is the animatronic action. When activated, the pumpkin head really lights up, and the upper body moves from side to side. Great looking but... Super heavy molded gloves hands that are actually a bit too heavy for the small gauge metal that holds them up. Started to bend under weight sitting in house. I was told that there are No Replacement Parts either, even though they designed this particular item exclusively. I reinforced the metal myself with braces. Now the speaker and movement stopped working and it's not even Halloween. No, it hasn't been exposed to weather.

I was disappointed that the pumpkin head arrived significantly damaged with a crack from nose up to forehead. I know these are fragile and are somewhat at the mercy of the delivery service, but it could have been wrapped in bubble wrap for protection (it wasn't). Other items in the package were loose (e.g., the adapter had apparently fallen out (?) of the smaller box it was supposed to arrive in. The material is flimsy, but that's not unexpected for a once-a-year decoration. The animatronic function works well with the included step pad, and I like the eerie sound and rocking movement. There's a slight issue with getting the pants to both (a) stay up around the waist support and (b) reach down far enough to cover the tops of the boots. Overall, I can't recommend it for the price given the condition in which it arrived, the overall quality, and the costuming issues - but if you've got bottomless pockets and you love Halloween, maybe you'll have better luck than I did!Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

Incredible animated prop by halloween costumes. So excited to get this for my birthday! Highest quality material and should last for years. Way bigger than expected and even over 6 feet tall without a head. Pumpkin much bigger too. Motion activated or with a step pad. Pumpkin lights up and upper body turns. He laughs, speaks scary and has horse sounds too. He is top heavy due to his size so I added weight in his boots to keep him steady.
