The Man at the Store Was Right
The warning came with the purchase: the man at the store said not to bring her home. Nobody listened. Now this haunted doll stands tall in the corner, glowing blue eyes fixed on whatever moves, ratcheting through creepy doll music while she coos sweetly about watching you sleep. Her voice shifts, something saccharine dissolving into something much older and much darker. You thought possessing an antique doll would be enchanting. Turns out she is the one who is possessed and she doesn't need her key spun to turn your home into an adorable hellscape!
Design & Details
Standing 66 inches tall, the Haunted Wind-Up Doll features a molded face and hands detailed with 3D breaks and fractures that catch the light at unsettling angles. Her wig hair and stain-printed striped dress complete the wind-up doll aesthetic, and the molded key in her back seals the look. Plug her into a standard outlet and choose from on/off or motion-detection activation.
Once triggered, her eyes glow bright blue, ratcheting sound effects play alongside creepy doll music, and she delivers multiple phrases in her signature double voice: taunting cutesy girl layered over dark and demonic undertones. But, don't worry, she says. She'll be watching you sleep. How... comforting!?

I don’t even know where to start. The Haunted Wind-Up Doll genuinely is one of my favorite props of all time, out of my entire collection of around 50 props. I’m a huge fan of dolls so she fits everything I could’ve wanted from a new doll prop perfectly. I especially love that she’s around adult height, there aren’t many retail doll props that are adult human sized or bigger, they are typically always around the 3ft mark. She was incredibly easy to put together, the box was packed well and has an insert which provided extra protection to everything inside. I was surprised to learn that her operation modes are Sensor/Footpad/Try Me Button, Off, and Constant On, it’s always nice to have the option for constant motion although I do think the foot pad/try me button mode should’ve been paired with when she’s off. The details on the head and hand sculpts are immaculate and I greatly appreciate that they are hard durable plastic. The dress is also so good looking with all the different stains and the overall dingy looking feel, it definitely gives that abandoned or old antique toy feel, not to mention the quality of the dress is great as well it’s nice and rugged, will definitely last a while with proper care. Another plus is that she’s really loud! Like much louder than I was expecting at full volume, and she does of course feature volume control so she can be adjusted to whatever volume you may need or want. The LEDs for her eyes are also extremely bright which is nice, and it gives this weird effect where her chest area has a dim blue glow from the eyes which I personally enjoy a lot! I am just so glad that after so many years this prop finally saw a retail release, even if it’s not the original twitching mechanism this new mechanism works wonderfully with the concept. I love how she starts bent over and as the winding ends she stands up fully and begins moving and speaking. 100% worth it and I’m so glad she’s finally in my possession, can’t wait to show her off on Halloween night!Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?
