Fly, Potter!

Harry Potter gets to do all the fun stuff, while we poor Muggles have to sit around twiddling our thumbs (or scrolling through our feeds). We want to waggle a wand around to conjure up a Patronus. We want to have a neat owl named Hedwig who will deliver us all of our goodies. We even want to have an ongoing rivalry with Draco Malfoy and we definitely want a broom of our own so we can play Quidditch! But alas, we never received our invitation to Hogwarts (we assume it got lost in the mail)…

Product Details

This Harry Potter Nimbus 2000 Broom helps us feel one step closer to becoming a real wizard! It might only be a toy collectible based on the one from the films, but when we take this thing for a scoot across the backyard, it makes us feel like we got drafted to be the next Seeker on the Gryffindor Quidditch team! It's officially licensed, life-size and even has sound!

Catch the Snitch

We don't recommend you hop on this thing and fly off looking for the Golden Snitch. Not because you're too new at broom flying, but because it's literally impossible and if you tried it you might get hurt! We LOVE the idea of pretend though. All Muggles should pretend to be magical because that's a whole lot of fun, and probably safer than trying for the real thing. We'd still like an owl delivering our mail, though...

Questions & Answers

Q: How do you replace or charge the battery in this with no opening? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! (1 Answer)
Asked by Anonymous | July 10, 2025
Monster Responds...
The broom's sound effects are powered by a battery compartment built into the handle area near the on/off switch, and fabric-covered props like this typically have a small velcro or sewn seam opening that gives access to it. Since the shaft is covered in polyester fabric, feel along the top end near the switch for a seam or flap that can be opened without cutting anything.

Q: How do you change the battery? (1 Answer)

Monster Responds...
The broom's sound effects are powered by an internal battery, but our copy doesn't include instructions for accessing or replacing it. What we do know is that the on/off switch is located at the top end of the broom, near the stuffed section. For battery details, checking the packaging or any included instruction sheet once the broom arrives would be your best bet.

Q: How do we change the batteries or charge it? (1 Answer)

Monster Responds...
The broom's sound effects are powered by an on/off switch at the top end, but our copy doesn't include details on battery access or charging. Since the shaft is covered in polyester fabric and fiberfill, checking where the fabric opens near that switch would be the place to start when you have the broom in hand.

Q: What is the broom made out of? (1 Answer)

The shaft is a PVC pipe covered in 100% polyester fabric and fiberfill, and the bristle end is a stuffed bag shaped like tied bristles, also polyester fabric.
