Lady or Pirate?
Disney’s Elizabeth Swann certainly looks like a proper lady when we first meet her. She wears fine dresses, lives in a mansion, has servants waiting on her, and keeps her hair immaculately styled. However, we soon learn that her personality doesn’t necessarily match her appearance. Elizabeth is fascinated with pirates, adventure, and even treasure (of a certain sort).
As the series continues, she begins to act less like a lady and more like the Pirate King she becomes. And of course, she wears outfits that are much more appropriate for commanding ships and fighting enemies than dresses with tightly laced corsets!

The shirt and vest combo features classic billowy sleeves and brass-colored buttons, with faux suede laces on the back to help you get the right fit. The brown pants complement the rest of the outfit, and the boot covers ensure that you can wear your most comfortable sailing shoes and still have the look of a pirate! The shirt/vest is really just a piece of cloth at the top with a button that is VERY obvious that it’s not a full shirt. You can see that it’s just a piece of buttoned fabric because your skin is showing under the vest! If you look closely in the video you can actually see it when she’s walking but I didn’t notice that before and regret buying this. It won’t work even with tape. The hat arrived misshapen, also won’t work because it looks silly and the pants only go slightly below the knee which makes them bunch up under the boot covers.
