The Other Mother has been waiting. Standing just past the little door, tall and impossibly still, until something moves... and and then her head turns, slow and deliberate, and she speaks. Not a scream. Not a screech. Just that voice, honey-sweet and wrong in ways you can't quite name. She's been patient. She's been so very patient. That's the energy this animatronic brings to your front porch, your haunted hallway, or any room unfortunate enough to host her.
Design & Details
Standing 88 inches tall and only 30 inches wide, this figure captures the Other Mother's signature proportions: an otherworldly thin waist, elongated limbs, emaciated chest, and wide hips that somehow make her look even more unsettling. She's dressed in a stretchy black and white dotted two-piece, with a molded face, button eyes, and a long wispy wig.
Motion detection triggers her head to sweep side to side at a downward angle, which is incredibly intimidating while she stands so high above. (Trust us on that one!) As she looks with judging intensity, she delivers a variety of multi-sentence phrases, laughs, and counts down her threats. A standard outlet powers her, with volume control and an on/off switch included, but it won't stop the memory!
Obedience Is Strongly Encouraged
Every guest who walks past her becomes a test subject. The motion sensor fires, the head moves, and suddenly nobody feels good about their choices. Set her near the candy bowl for maximum effect, or at the end of a hallway where the lighting is already unkind. She's 7.3 feet of very specific, very effective dread.

The looks of this prop is simply great stands just over 7ft with an evil pressance.
Unfortunately ours came slightly damaged with the frame not aligning they did offer a discount which was good of them due to this.

Absolutely awesome animatronic. She’s SUPER tall (over 7 feet) and the likeness to the Other Mother from the actual Coraline movie is spot on. The only body part that moves is the head, however, I think less is more with this one—it makes her look even creepier and more menacing just standing with the subtle head movement. This is one I've been waiting for and she did not disappoint. She looks straight out of the movie. She is built solid and the material is all great quality. Only thing i could complain about is her speaker is a little small and doesn't get very loud so I do wish this one came with an external speaker jack. This Other Mother animatronic is worth the price. At first I was leary of buying her because I was not sure how sturdy she would be, considering how thin she looks. However, when assembling her I found out that most of her body is made of a good sturdy plastic (it is the kind of plastic that you CANNOT indent in easily with your fingers). Her shoes, lower legs, arms, torso, chest, neck, and entire head are made of the same hard plastic. The only place where there is thinner plastic is the lower part of her skirt. Even her upper torso (the parts you do not see due to being covered by the dress) are made from the same hard plastic (this includes her backside too). Even the part of her head (that is not shown due to her hair) is also made of the same hard plastic. It was also refreshing buying an animatronic that is not made primarily out of foam (she has NO foam). Also, she certainly stands 7 feet 3 inches. Make sure you measure from floor to ceiling before buying her. With my studio she barely cleared the ceiling by half an inch. her audio is clear, and I only needed the volume turned up half- way (loud enough for me). The only part that moves is her head. She has two mods. One is where she is sensory activated, and the other is she is continuously activated. Also, if you chose to use the sensory option, please give it several seconds when first turning her on. At first I thought she wasn't going to work, but after a few seconds she began to move, etc.
The one thing to be careful of is when you are putting her together is the thinner plastic used (under lower skirt) is sometimes hard to work around. But if you are careful you should be fine. Wow! Let me tell you that she's amazing! First, the shipping & processing for 'Other Mother' was speedy, which was a pleasant surprise. Second, assembly was super simple. The hardest part was getting the shirt on this broad, ha! Finally, she's just as described on the site. Fully assembled, she's intimidating and oh so creepy! She looms in my foyer, exuding unsettling vibes! We love it! The speaker is spot on, too. The sound is very clear and true to the character, with a wide volume range.
