Don't Listen to the Witch
Historically speaking, no good comes from trusting a witch. "Trust me!" they say. "I built this gingerbread house just for little children like you! Pay no attention to the iron cage scattered with human bones!" Or sometimes, it goes more like, "Try an apple, my pretty? What? No, of course it's not poisoned! I have great self-esteem and am certainly not jealous of you for being the fairest in the land." With that in mind, do try not to take advice or suggestions from this evil lady - unless she tells you to have a happy Halloween!
Product Details
Perfect your seasonal decorations with this Scary Animated Standing Evil Witch! The hook-nosed, glowing-eyed baddy wears a gown of tattered black material and a pointed black hat draped with a ripped veil. One outstretched hand holds a shiny read apple, while the other one beckons with claw-like fingers. Plug her into the wall and she will terrify bystanders with seasonal greetings!

Questions & Answers
Q: Does the witch require batteries or can she be plugged into the wall?
Also, is she able to stay outside uncovered? (1 Answer)
Also, is she able to stay outside uncovered? (1 Answer)
Asked by Jenna | August 9, 2026
Monster Responds...
She runs on 3 AA batteries, which are not included, so no wall outlet is needed. Our product details don't specify whether she's rated for outdoor use, so to keep her looking and working her best, covering or sheltering her from rain and moisture would be the safe call.(AI Generated Answer)
Q: I see this comes with a US plug and we will need to use an adapter for international use. Can I just confirm this is dual voltage 110/220v? (1 Answer)
Asked by Paul | September 17, 2024
Monster Responds...
The voltage for this witch isn't something our product details confirm, so I'd recommend checking the label on the power adapter or cord that ships with her before plugging in abroad, as that label will tell you definitively whether it supports dual voltage. What we do know is that she runs on 3 AA batteries for the sound and motion features, so depending on how you're using her, batteries may be all you need.(AI Generated Answer)
Q: Does the eyes light up
(1 Answer)
(1 Answer)
Asked by michelle lawrenc | August 21, 2024
Monster Responds...
Yes, the eyes flash! Her head shakes too, and she delivers three witchy phrases, all triggered either by sound activation or the included step pad.(AI Generated Answer)
Q: The description indicates it is plug-in, but one reviewed said that it is battery-operated. Which is correct?
(1 Answer)
Asked by Leslie | August 16, 2024
Monster Responds...
This witch runs on 3 AA batteries, not a plug. The reviewer had it right. You will need to pick up three AA batteries separately since they are not included.(AI Generated Answer)
Q: How tall is this witch?
(1 Answer)
Asked by Anonymous | September 13, 2023
Monster Responds...
This animated witch stands approximately 70 inches tall once fully assembled with her included stand and metal poles.(AI Generated Answer)
Q: I am waiting to know what voltage it runs on because I live in UK. And power output here is 240v
(1 Answer)
(1 Answer)
Asked by Curt | August 29, 2023
Monster Responds...
This witch runs entirely on 3 AA batteries, so your UK mains voltage isn't a factor at all. No plug, no adapter needed, just pop in the batteries and she's ready to shake her head and cast her spells.(AI Generated Answer)
Q: The step pad doesn't seem to work and there are no instructions on how to set her to automatically play. Since the sensor (step pad) doesn't work at all, how do I set her to play automatically?
(1 Answer)
Asked by Sheila | October 14, 2022
Monster Responds...
The switch has two positions: On activates sound activation (she triggers automatically when she detects noise), and Off activates the step pad. So to bypass the step pad entirely, just flip the switch to the On position and she'll respond to sound on her own.(AI Generated Answer)
Q: Does it come with the step pad or do you need to buy it separately?
(1 Answer)
(1 Answer)
Asked by Operation question | October 5, 2022
Monster Responds...
The step pad is included. You get the witch figure, the stand with assembly pieces, the step pad, and instructions all in one purchase.(AI Generated Answer)
Q: Does it have a volume control?
(1 Answer)
Asked by Ejej | September 3, 2022
Monster Responds...
We don't have a volume control on this witch. The switch has two positions: one for sound activation and one for step pad activation, but neither adjusts the volume level.(AI Generated Answer)
Q: Is the speaker loud? I'm thinking about outside on my deck, but I want to make sure it's loud enough. (1 Answer)
Asked by Anonymous | August 8, 2022
Monster Responds...
We don't have a decibel rating or volume specification for this witch. What we do know is that she runs on 3 AA batteries, which typically powers speakers suited for close-range interaction rather than filling a large open outdoor space.(AI Generated Answer)
Q: Can you turn off the sound but still have the witch move? (1 Answer)
Asked by Andrew | July 6, 2022
Monster Responds...
The switch controls the trigger method, not the sound separately, so there isn't a dedicated sound-off option. The On position activates sound-triggered motion and the Off position switches to the step pad, but both modes include the phrases, flashing eyes, and head movement together as one package.(AI Generated Answer)
Q: Are the animated witches suitable for United Kingdom power supply,
(1 Answer)
Asked by Baz | January 8, 2022
Monster Responds...
This witch runs on 3 AA batteries, so there's no mains power supply involved at all. That makes the UK voltage difference a non-issue, since you just pop in standard AA batteries and she's ready to go.(AI Generated Answer)
Reviews
Customers Say
Reviews are mixed on this witch decoration. Positive reviewers praise its great sound, nice quality, durability, and sturdy stand, while negative reviewers cite poor build quality with visible glue globs, a drooping hand, wind instability, and frustration over the product being battery-operated rather than plug-in as originally advertised.(AI Generated Review Summary)

When I purchased this witch last year the info said plug in...it takes batteries which i did not want. The hand holding the apple droops no matter how you position it. The structure isn't strong enough to support it. One gust of wind and it's knocked over, needs to definitely be weighed down. I see the info was changed since then saying it takes batteries. I love my Halloween costumes from here, but I don't think I would purchase anymore of these types of decorations. She does look amazing though.Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend. Was this review helpful to you? - AlanBy Brujaa | September 25, 2026

I bought this and hoping for a really good witch for the price. Its poorly put together and battery operated, when it states it plugs in. They completely falsify everything about this product it only says 1 thing as well. Don't bother buying this product.Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend. Was this review helpful to you? - Not worth the moneyBy Not worth the money | October 8, 2025
This is very cheap. It is such bad quality. There are huge globs of glue in very visible areas. You have to press a pad in order for her to move or her eyes light up. This is most definitely not worth paying what I did for it.Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend. Was this review helpful to you? - Four StarsBy dawn hernandez | September 21, 2025
