Design & Details
The design of this costume blends modern comfort with the style of yore! It begins with a brown poly-blend bodice with a floral pattern in the front, perfect for any woman making a trip to the Highlands of the 1700s. Zippers may not have been invented until 1913 (quick history fact for you, there), but you'll appreciate the zipper in the back of the bodice, which makes this fit like modern clothing!
The thick skirt is made out of tweed material, and comes with a Scottish-inspired plaid pattern with rich, earthy browns, blacks, and white colors. The elastic waistband also gives the skirt a snug, yet comfortable fit that will have you ready to set out on any adventure, whether it's facing off brigands with your new Scottish beau, or fitting in at the next Renaissance faire. Finally, the costume comes with a brown, chunky knit scarf that slides on over the neck to complete the outfit!
