Design & Details
The look centers on a purple midweight jersey dress with light purple accents at the hem and cuffs — exactly what Daphne's been wearing since 1969 without a single complaint. A lime green scarf ties around the neck however you like, and stretch tights round out the ensemble. The headband is plastic with fabric covering, keeping the whole look screen-accurate and solidly put together.
The costume also includes a full orange wig, so you don't need to have Daphne's exact hair situation already going on at home. The wig, scarf, headband, dress, and tights are all included, meaning you can go from zero to mystery-solving in one box. The official Scooby-Doo licensing means this is the real deal, not some vague "animated girl in purple" situation.

Height 5'2 | Weight 106lbs | Size X-SmallI needed a family-friendly version of Daphne for a school event. The costume is very well made. The colours are accurate and it's actually proportional and looks like the character. It's not the slinky, overly shiny, cheap material a lot of costumes are made of but a nicer, thicker material. (Still polyester) It's definitely made for more pear-shaped bodies because the top is a little smaller than the waist which was fine for me. The scarf and headband are very good quality, although the scarf has unfinished edges that will probably roll over time. The tights are decent and I feel like they won't run easily, so if you're doing a bunch of walking or whatever then that's a plus. The wig was quite goofy looking and has a funky part where the bangs meet the rest of the wig and you can see the mesh cap underneath.
