Barbara Maitland wanted a charming country home and maybe a few tasteful antiques. What she got was a haunting gig and one very creative scare tactic. This Adult Beetlejuice Barbara Costume captures her unforgettable transformation scene, pairing her gentle floral style with a face that stretches the definition of “housewarming.”
At first glance, the dress feels quaint and classic. Add the molded mask, and suddenly you’re recreating one of the film’s most iconic moments. It’s equal parts wholesome and wildly eerie, just like Barbara herself.
Design & Details
This officially licensed Beetlejuice costume includes a floral-print dress and a molded character mask. The dress features buttons down the front for easy fitting and a timeless silhouette that mirrors Barbara’s sweet, understated style from the film.
Elastic in the sleeves provides a comfortable fit and helps keep the shape of the look. The molded mask recreates Barbara’s elongated face from the dinner scare scene, complete with her eyes positioned inside the open mouth for that instantly recognizable effect.
