Design & Details
The heavy-duty polycotton jumpsuit is decked out in layers of multi-toned wig fibers, giving it Chewie's signature "just ran through a forest" look. It secures with drawstring cords, making it breathable enough to avoid overheating during long space journeys or dance floors.
The molded mask captures Chewbacca's famously expressive face, complete with fur-covered hood for a seamless look. The latex gloves feature sculpted fingers and are topped with the same shaggy wig fibers, while the matching foot covers include elastic straps to keep them, whether for a mission or grocery run.
The bandolier's adjustable strap is lined with molded plastic boxes and rivets, attaching to a faux suede satchel that features decorative buckles and o-ring accents. In short: it's functional, fierce, and ready to hold snacks, tools, or both.

Height 5'9 | Weight 170 | Size Large/X-LargeI purchased this costume to get the feeling of wearing a Chewbacca costume for the first time. The suit is not perfect and it needed a few adjustments to fit my face correctly. Firstly the body suit and mask needed to be brushed to give it a more clean look. After doing that, I had to add foam inside of the mask so that I could fix my face correctly. I then added some hair gel to smooth out the hair and boom the mask looked clean enough to wear. Now the bodysuit was probably the most impressive for a basic Chewbacca suit, it was then but comfortable and it did the job , I was pleased. I finally wore it to a convention in Jan and I got lots of compliments from people who know the character. I did add a sound glove to the suit so I could make all of the Chewbacca sounds, the suit was a hit. Overall , for a basic Chewbacca costume, this did the job. If I had to complain about a few things, I would offer options to customize the pants leg so the bottom pans legs is wide enough to wear shoes that increase this characters height ( I bought stilts to make me taller but they would not fit the pant leg so I then had to purchase some boots on Amazon that increased my height 5 inches. Lastly, the mask should come with material inside that could adjust to fit multiple sizes of heads. Overall the suit worked until I upgrade to a more complete suit.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?
