This Sister Has Zero Chill

If you thought a haunted house couldn't get any scarier, The Nun is here to prove you very wrong. Straight from The Conjuring universe, this terrifying figure reminds that evil comes in many forms, sometimes the ones that we think are the safest! Of course, one look at her chilling eyes is sure to let even those who haven't seen the film know that they don't want to get too close to this creepy creature!

With glowing demon eyes, a spine-chilling scream, and just a little too much movement for comfort, this Animated The Nun Halloween Decoration is the ultimate way to bring Valak into your decoration routine and ensure your guests are shrieking with (excited) terror.

Design & Details

Designed in-house as part of our Made By Us collection, this officially licensed animatronic brings Valak to life (unfortunately). Standing tall in her traditional nun's habit—which, let's be honest, has never looked more sinister—she's got piercing yellow demon eyes that light up, making sure you feel her presence even in total darkness.

But, really, it's the lunging movement that'll send guests scrambling. She rocks back and forth, as if preparing to strike at any moment, her dark robes swaying with every eerie motion. And just when your heart rate starts to settle? Cue the music from The Nun—followed by an ear-piercing scream that makes sure nobody is walking away from this encounter without a fresh fear of nuns.

Pray She Stays Put

If your Halloween setup is missing something truly terrifying, The Nun is more than ready to take over. Whether she's haunting your entryway, standing guard over the candy bowl, or lurking in a dark hallway (why would you do that to yourself?), one thing's for sure—this is one trick-or-treater that nobody wants to run into alone.

Questions & Answers

Q: Hi will this animatronic come with her cross necklace I would like to know before i purchase this? Thanks for your time and I hope I hear back from you soon! (1 Answer)

Monster Responds...
Our information doesn't call out a cross necklace as part of the animatronic's costume details, so I can't confirm it ships with one. What we do know is that the includes list covers the animatronic itself, the stand, a power cord, and assembly instructions, and that's exactly what ships.

Q: I bought one and got her put together, Tried her out and she worked just fine. The next day I went to put her out, and the noise/movement kept stopping halfway through. What could be the problem? (1 Answer)
Asked by T.M. | October 31, 2025
Monster Responds...
If she's stopping partway through her cycle, the most common culprit is the activation mode she's set to. She has three modes: try me, sensor, and a step pad mode for the separately sold step pad. If she's in sensor mode, anything that briefly interrupts the sensor mid-cycle, like a passing shadow or a shift in her position, can cause her to reset or stall. Try switching her to a different mode and see if the behavior changes. If you're running her outdoors, also double-check that she's plugged into a GFCI outlet, since any interruption in power delivery can cause exactly the kind of stopping you're describing.

Q: Is there a way to position the nun so that she's stood up straight looking at you when not activated, as opposed to looking down?
Thank you! (1 Answer)
Asked by Anonymous | October 31, 2025
Monster Responds...
Her resting position is bent at the waist looking downward, and that's the default pose she returns to between activations. The lunge forward is her activated motion, so there isn't a built-in way to lock her upright when she's at rest.

Q: Is this product new or used
(1 Answer)

Monster Responds...
This animatronic ships brand new directly from us. You'll get the Nun animatronic, stand, power cord, and assembly instructions, all fresh out of the box and ready to set up.

Q: Does the bun actually lunge forward? (1 Answer)
Asked by Anonymous | October 4, 2025
Monster Responds...
Yes, she really does lunge forward! When activated, she bends at the waist, thrusts her hands and body forward, lights up her eyes, and plays eerie music.

Q: So on the nun thing on the motor that moves around there's a piece of Styrofoam that has two zip ties on it. Is that piece of foam supposed to be removed or does it stay so it knows where to stop it doesn't say in the directions whether to remove it or not and since it has zip ties I'm thinking it needs to be removed but it appears to be glued on (1 Answer)
Asked by gary | September 27, 2025
Monster Responds...
That foam piece with the zip ties is a shipping spacer meant to protect the motor mechanism in transit, and it should be removed before you power the animatronic on. The zip ties are there to hold it securely during shipping, which is why it may feel snug or appear attached. If it seems glued, work it free gently, since leaving it in place would prevent the motor from moving through its full range of motion.

Q: When used outdoors it needs to be plugged in? But I also read in the description that it can be operated with four AA batteries? (1 Answer)
Asked by Estuardo  | September 4, 2025
Monster Responds...
For outdoor use, this animatronic needs to be plugged into a GFCI outlet. A power cord is included, and that is the only power option we have for this decoration, so the battery information you came across doesn't apply to this item.

Q: Are all Animatronics water proof? Can they be left out in the rain? (1 Answer)
Asked by Alex | March 14, 2025
Monster Responds...
This Nun animatronic is not waterproof and should never be allowed to get wet. She can be set up in a covered outdoor spot, but open-air placement where rain could reach her is a no-go. If you do use her outside, she also needs to be plugged into a GFCI outlet for safety.
