Women's Plus Size Xena Costume
So we've heard inquiring minds want to know. Just how does one become a Warrior Princess? Conventional routes include being born to Greek gods, spending years training, or even becoming an evil warlord and destroyer of nations up until you decide that it's time to start fighting for honor. Of course, for our money, we think the easiest way to become a warrior princess is to just copy the look of another one, and there's none more famous than Xena.
Luckily we've created this authentic women's Plus Size Xena costume. It's made and designed by our own television superfans right here at HalloweenCostumes.com, so you know that we got the details right. And since its Universal Studios officially licensed, you can rest assured that this signature costume is going to give you the street cred to get out there with Hercules or Gabrielle and start kicking some butt! This plus size costume is modeled exactly after the on-screen look worn by Lucy Lawless in the syndicated Xena: Warrior Princess television series. It features a brown faux suede and faux leather dress that looks like real Greek battle apparel, and it has molded latex armor pieces to really up the ante. Shoulder and chest pieces attache to the dress with Velcro, and arm bands and gauntlets help you get geared up for the big battle. The paint on the armor pieces and screen-printed dress details give this costume the authentic touch, and the PU knee high boot tops complete the on-screen look. In sizes 2X and 3X, we're sure to have the fit that will let you get in on the action. Grab this detailed costume to let your Warrior Princess dreams become a reality, or to just let your inner fan cosplay come to life!

Armbands? Great looking, but would need to either be made longer, require a longer piece of Velcro or, better yet, elastic to fit.
Shoulders? Look good. These are attached via three bits on the dress's straps. Again, these could have been scaled up.
Gauntlets? Awesome. The laces work well to adjust to your forearm and the pieces themselves look pretty good.
Breastplate? You're kidding me, right? There's no way on earth this thing is scaled up for a plus sized costume. It would require some creativity - and surgery - to get this thing to attach without the center flipping up and protruding. If you wear smaller than, say, a 36D, it's fine. The latex piece is simply not big enough for a larger bust. Too narrow, too closely set, too bad. The look was great, the fit was not.
Quite a shame, really. I was looking forward to wearing this to work and shocking the socks off of my coworkers. Back it goes, especially since I've been informed that the coordinating wig I also bought is not allowed in my department. *sigh*
