The Women's Beetlejuice Sandworm Costume Dress is an officially licensed dress for adults who want to pay tribute to the legendary desert beast from the Netherworld. The sandworm deserves more credit. It has one job, it does it extremely well, and nobody ever asks how it's doing.
This dress commits fully to the creature. The attached hood features embroidered eyes, foam teeth, and a back fin, so from the neck up, the sandworm has arrived. Below that, the jersey knit silhouette keeps everything wearable and surprisingly flattering for a giant subterranean worm.
Design & Details
The in-house design team made a real decision with the posable wire built into the bottom hem. Shape it flat, sweep it up, angle it dramatically sideways. The hem does what you tell it to, which gives the sandworm an expressive quality nobody expected from a dress.
The body is a polyester-spandex blend for stretch and comfort, and the hood and tail are lined in 100% polyester to hold their shape through a long night. A center-front zipper keeps getting in and out simple, which is exactly what you want when you are technically an enormous worm.
