Ridin' the Tide
Last time we went to the beach we took a poll. Which animal of the high seas was the most chill? It probably won't surprise you but people hands down voted for the sea turtle. Okay, okay. Our company has never actually traveled to the beach just to harass people into taking an animal personality poll. That would be an irresponsible use of an opportunity to have fun. But still, we challenge you to find a creature that moves through our oceans as serenely as the sea turtle. Just imagine, they travel over ten-thousand miles with their family every year and they never even threaten to turn the car around! So if you can see your child getting in touch with their chill yet adventurous side, this sea turtle is the way to go!
Product Details & Design
It's easy for your child to step into a chill state of mind with this Made-By-Us sea turtle costume. Our designers and graphic artist put together this unique bodysuit with an intricate scale and shell pattern. The light green patterned belly is topped with a deeply colored shell with natural tones that you'd find while scuba diving with these nautical reptiles. It's easy to transform into this chill oceanic creature. The jumpsuit zips up the front. The suit also has an attached turtle head hood, flippers that can fold over your child's hands, and boot covers that hide any shoes your kiddo might be wearing.

When autumn is around the corner and Halloween is on your mind, it's hard to keep a tropical island vibe going on in your head. This costume is adorable. In person it's true to what's shown online. It love that the mittens come off the hands but are still attached. Our fit was true to the measurements online. We got a small and our boys wear 5/6 little kids in most brands. There's a little room to grow but not much. The only complain is that the bum of the shell got flattened out dramatically in shipping and instead of laying flat, it wraps around his body and sort of folds in on the sides of the shell. It's more of a hump and less of a gentle hill, if that makes sense. However, they left a nice big hidden hole (with finished seams) just above the bum that I'm going to add a foam sheet to to fill it out, if needed. For now it's laying flat under a bed in hopes the shape corrects itself. Size MediumI have an average 10 year old and the 10-12 age size was too small. I then got the large but had to pay for rush shipping to get it here on time. I'm sending back the 10-12 for a refund. Size SmallCute costume, but it seems like this is one that is better for kids with long legs and short upper body and not great for kids with a taller upper body. The measurements on the website seem way off. I almost bought an x-small based on the listed measurements, but decided on a small instead. Size MediumGreat costume, but we had to size up. My daughter is just starting to wear 10/12 but putting the hood on was rough and the arms were snug too. I would say the most important measurement for this costume is the jumpsuit length.
