It's no wonder the Grim Reaper chose the scythe as his signature tool of the trade -- it's perhaps the most frightening accessory of them all. Just look at that menacing curved blade, the imposing length of its staff, and that small point at the other end. When it comes to being menacing, there's no tool quite like the scythe.
So it's also no wonder Ruby Rose wields the Crescent Rose, a high-caliber Sniper-Scythe we first saw in the "Red" trailer. Its three modes -- storage mode, for transportation; rifle mode, for medium-length action; and scythe mode, the fully extended mid-to-close range preference -- make it an even more effective weapon!

Quality looks good, it's a bit top heavy and the weight distribution makes it hard to hold. Another issue is the back blade being bent, something I’ve seen with others, and the handle peg not going in all the way and being flimsy. Other than those things, assembly was easy and i'm happy i bought it. I love with this cosplay scythe. ITS A MUST if you cosplay Ruby. It's easy to put it together. (I'm wearing a 5 in. platform so u can see it's a big scythe.)Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

I got this as a early Christmas gift and could not be any happier . It great quality and sturdy. It also came with everything to put it together. The quality is great and detailed too but the for the assembly, one of the joints is it a tight fit and can fall off if not holding it upright. It’s top heavy and bends from the weight. Wish it had a strong material for the stick area. Still love it!
