The Hug You'll Regret Accepting
We love to meet a hero, but when the Bigger Bodies Initative gives them an upgrade that nobody asked for, things get a little... hairy. So, here we are. Seven and a half feet of blue faux fur, glowing yellow eyes, and a smile full of teeth that no smile should ever contain, Huggy Wuggy has officially left the factory and moved into your entryway. Guests won't know whether to take a photo or turn around. He tilts. He leans. He speaks. Halloween just got a standing appointment!
Design & Details
Standing a full 90 inches tall and built on a sturdy metal frame, this animatronic triggers via motion detection so Huggy springs to life the moment someone gets close. Phase one tilts his head side to side while he delivers in-game phrases. Phase two leans him forward, tilts his head back, and activates glowing yellow eyes for maximum unsettling effect.
Long-pile faux fur covers his body, arms, and legs, while molded hands, feet, and facial features keep everything on brand, including reflective and glowing eyes and that unforgettable grin. Free-hanging arms sway naturally when he moves. Controls include on/off, try me, a step pad trigger, and volume adjustment. Plugs into any standard outlet.
Arms Wide Open, Scares Absolutely Free
Set him up in the entryway, the yard, or right at the candy bowl for an experience trick-or-treaters absolutely did not sign up for. The step pad means he activates hands-free, which means you get to watch the reactions from a safe, comfortable distance. Huggy Wuggy's factory may be abandoned, but his enthusiasm for greeting visitors clearly is not.

I was very skeptical when I first ordered. I never ordered from this store and thought it was too good to be true but I was blown away. This Huggy Wuggy is amazing. I’m really glad to finally see Huggy Wuggy get made into a full-size animatronic. At 7.5 feet tall, he has a ton of presence and definitely stands out in a display.
The movement is probably my favorite part. The head movement is nice, but the upper body leaning forward really adds a lot and makes him feel more alive than if he just stood there. The glowing eyes and huge grin also look great, especially in darker lighting.
I also think he pairs really well with Spirit Halloween’s Freddy Fazbear animatronic. They’re both big video game characters with completely different looks, and having them together makes for a really fun gaming-themed section of a display.
For $349.99, I think he’s pretty solid for the size and amount of movement you’re getting. Overall, I’m just happy we finally got an animatronic of Huggy Wuggy, and I’d love to see HalloweenCostumes.com keep going after more unique licenses like this in the future.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

I was extremely excited when this animatronic was announced, and I knew I had to get it for Halloween since I'm a huge fan of the game. But when I actually set it up, it really exceeded my expectations. It's just so cool to have this in my house. First of all, it's so big and intimidating. Definitely my stand out animatronic. And second of all, the mechanism is really impressive for a 7.5 ft animatronic. The lunge forward is pretty quick and forceful, which is insane to have for an animatronic that is almost 8ft tall. A jumpscare animation on a animatronic this size is impressive. The audio couldn't be any better, he looks amazing, and was extremely easy to set up especially with it being made of thick fur. It looks really good and doesn't mess with the mechanism at all. I still can't believe how good this thing is for being 7.5 ft tall and being accurate to the game. He looks so good in person, and I can't wait to keep it up all year long in my room. It also looks great with the Halloween themed base I gave it.
