Backyard Mischeif
The fox seems like a magical creature. It's something about their pointed little faces, yellow eyes, bushy tail, and red fur. But the thing is, foxes are pretty casual citizens of cities and suburbs. They hang out in backyards, playing on human inventions such as stone walls, hammocks, and even trampolines! Sure, foxes might also be spotted dancing in a sun-soaked meadow, chasing butterflies and leaping at grasshoppers but they don't mind trotting through town every so often, as long as there aren't any people hanging around. Do you know a little mischief maker who can have fun no matter where they are? This cozy fox costume is a great way to play and nap just like the sneeky creatures we love to see visiting our backyards!
Design & Details
This over-sized cozy costume was designed by our in-house creative team. The fuzzy faux fur belly zips up the front, making it easy for kids to slip into on their own. A large, puffy tail tipped in black and white gives this jumpsuit an extra playful touch while pointy ears top off the over-sized hood. Ribbed cuffs make this suit extra cozy for lounging around the house on chilly Saturday mornings.

Height 5ft 6 inches | Weight 160lb | Size X-LargeOverall I would recommend this costume since it looks great and it’s super comfortable to wear! I rated it 4 stars since there is some room for improvement.
Pros:
- The faux fur material is super soft and luxurious! It's warm as you would expect for fur but the look and soft feel is worth it! It’s like a stuffed animal! Lower quality, sparse pile fur material makes the fur backing visible which looks bad. The material used for this costume has a very dense pile so it looks great!
-The inside lining of the costume is soft and comfortable against the skin. The attached hood is lined with a soft jersey material. So overall, the costume is amazingly comfortable to wear!
- The tail is very plush, generously stuffed, nicely sculpted, and I like that it’s sewn onto the back of the costume in a circle instead of a line along the seam as with many other costumes. That makes it just look nicer!
- I like the black cuffs and the ends of the sleeves and legs which is also a nice, comfortable, and durable material similar to that used on sweaters and jackets.
- The hand paws are very cute and plush! The little foam claws on them are a nice touch.
- The fox ears on the hood are perky and nicely detailed.
Cons:
-The tail looks to be about half the size proportionally than shown in the photos.
-The hood could be tailored better. It’s too baggy on the head so the ears don’t stay in position on your head. It would be nice if the zipper went up higher so the hood isn’t so open around the neck.
-The hood liner isn’t attached to the inside back of the hood so the lining is loose and flops around a lot.
-The fur edges along the zipper could have been folded over so the fur could hide the zipper.
-I love the look and feel of the fur but it does shed a lot so it will get all over whatever you’re wearing under the costume. Be sure to have a lint roller!
-The measurements are accurate. I’ve found most store bought costumes tend to run large but not so for this one. I’m 5 ft 6 inches tall and the Childrens XL is slightly too small for me. The adult small/medium is a better fit.
So overall I’m very happy I bought the costume! I would recommend it to anyone who loves foxes and being really fluffy!Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?
