A hard day's work
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? Maybe you wanted a job that gave you the chance to save people's lives, like a doctor or a surgeon. Maybe you wanted to have daring adventures as a firefighter or astronaut. Did you want to own your own bakery and always get to create (and eat) delicious pastries and sweets? Or maybe you really loved animals, so you wanted to become a vet or a farmer. We're sure no matter what you wanted to be, it was something exciting, dynamic, and always changing... like a scarecrow!
Well, okay, being a scarecrow isn't the most exciting job. In fact, it's kind of the opposite, since you literally just stand in a field all day. You don't even move, at all. But on the bright side, you also need very few skills for this job. Really, all you need to do is exist, and you're good to go. So, that's encouraging at least! And no, there isn't really any upward mobility, or chances for pay raises... or any pay at all, really. But you at least get a pretty cool uniform! That's... something, right?
Product Details
Show off your style with this Kid's Patchwork Scarecrow Costume. The exclusive costume includes a shirt, pants, burlap hood and hat, made out of 100 percent polyester broadcloth and burlap fabrics. The blue shirt has raffia "straw" sticking out of the sleeve cuffs and center front, along with a rope belt attached to the shirt's center back. The pants feature multi-colored patch appliques and straw as well, and they also have an elastic waistband for a comfy fit. The balaclava-style burlap hood has an inner fabric lining for comfort, while the cone-shaped hat has a burlap band and raffia "straw" at the sides.

This costume is well made. My grandson got lots of compliments on how awesome he looked. I bought it a little bigger than his actual size so he could wear long pants and a long sleeve shirt under it to stay warm. Our one complaint is that the straw sewn on the sleeves and legs breaks off, especially on the arms. I would recommend getting the scarecrow accessory set so you can add to what comes on the costume. Also, it Does Not come with the crow as shown. Overall, happy with the costume. He plans to wear it again next year.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

It's a cute costume, but unfortunately my son would not put it on because of how scratchy the straw is and the headpiece. Bought it with a black crow. Arrived exactly as seen in the picture. my kid loved it and recieved a lot of compliments and "wow"s.
