This one-piece costume is made from soft polyester that’s comfortable enough for a whole evening of sugar-fueled haunting. The black jumpsuit zips up the front, making it easy to wrangle onto wiggly little monsters. Printed skeleton bones run across the front of the suit, making your child look like they just stepped out of a cartoon graveyard—but in the cutest way possible.
The sleeves feature rib-knit cuffs and attached bat wings printed with matching bone designs, so they can flap and flutter with spooky flair. The attached hood adds even more bat-titude, featuring a printed bat skull and two oversized ears sticking straight up. My 4 year old saw this costume and decided he must be a skeleton bat for Halloween this year. Ordered the XS and it fits perfectly (XS seems to be a 4-5). It's super soft and very well made. I was expecting something cheap and like a lot of costumes, something that won't last long. This is the opposite of my assumption. It's super cute and my toddler is obsessed with it. My 7-year-old daughter loves her Flying Skeleton Bat Costume. It's a nice touch that the skeleton is on the back as well. We got lots of compliments on its cuteness today at a local theme park's Halloween event. It's easy for her to step in and zip up this costume by herself, so it will work for the school festivities as well.
I measured her with a tape measure before ordering to ensure a good fit, but the costume seems shorter than expected in the arms and legs. The shortness is not a big deal (maybe this is a bat wearing capri pants?) because we live in a warm area so it allows a little airflow and we can always wear leggings underneath.
