Tricks and Treats
When Playtime Co. made their first Huggy Wuggy toy, success was assured! When Playtime Co. got a little wacky with Huggy Wuggy and let the fellow grow large enough to act as security, well, success faltered. At least, that's the way the video game Poppy Playtime tells it.
In your kiddo's world, Huggy Wuggy is still the greatest! From the character's intense hugs to his toothy grin, it seems there's never enough. Luckily, if another replay of their favorite game installment still doesn't quench your Poppy Playtime fan's craving for more frights and delights, this exclusive Kid's Prestige Huggy Wuggy Costume just might!
Product Details
Let your kiddo experiment with IRL video game adventures this Halloween when you order this licensed Poppy Playtime Huggy Wuggy kid's costume! The exclusive style is ready to totally transform young fans into the infamous Huggy Wuggy with three highly detailed and easy-to-wear pieces!
A long-sleeved, high-necked jumpsuit with hook & loop fastener down the back starts the ensemble. Entirely covered in long, bright blue faux fur, the full-coverage garment gets kids looking like their favorite video game monster quickly, complete with a blue satin bow at the front neck!
Attached shoe covers ensure that your kid's preferred footwear looks like Huggy Wuggy's feet. A pair of mittens do the same for fingers, and with hook-and-loop fastener tape sewn to the palm of each mitten, your kiddo's embrace promises to be as strong as Huggy Wuggy's!
The full head mask completes the look with its faux fur coverage and detailed design. An applique of Huggy Wuggy's signature grin gives kids a perfectly gnarly smile to greet neighbors for trick-or-treat. Mesh openings printed to look like Huggy Wuggy's wide eyes ensure that your kid can see all the fun they're stirring up. Meanwhile, the mask's mesh side panels and lightly padded interior offer a cool and comfortable fit!
Questions & Answers
Q: What size would you recommend for a child with following measurements..
Chest: 28"
Sleeve: 19"
Torso: 23"
Inseam: 20"
I was thinking 4/6 bc the torso is 26 with inseam 16. Torso being 3" more than body measurement would drop the start of the inseam down 3" to where it would be in-line with 19 bc of the 16 inseam.
The next size up the torso is 28 with inseam of 19. That would seem to drop the start of inseam down 5", then the 19" would create a lots of material below the feet. Hope I'm making sense. Is there any difference in head mask size? Thx. (1 Answer)

Monster Responds...
Your sizing logic is solid, and the 4/6 looks like the right call. The chest measurement matches exactly at 28", and your read on the torso-to-inseam relationship is spot on. The shoe covers are attached to the pants cuffs with elastic and hook and loop straps that go under the foot, so there's some built-in adjustability at the bottom rather than loose fabric pooling. The mask is one size within each costume size and uses an inner foam-backed cap to position it on the head, so fit there is more about the cap than the child's exact head circumference.(AI Generated Answer)

Customers Say
This Huggy Wuggy costume receives overwhelmingly positive feedback, with parents consistently praising the soft, high-quality material that exceeds expectations for the price. Kids love it so much they often refuse to take it off, the fit is generally true to size though sizing up is recommended for layering, and the realistic look with mesh sides for airflow is a standout feature. Minor shedding is noted by a couple of reviewers but considered a non-issue given the overall value.(AI Generated Review Summary)

Height 4'3" | Weight 54 | Size Size 7/8This costume is as exactly as you would hope. My son got so many compliments on it.. it takes really great pics!! So fun seeing him go to trunk or treats and trick or treating with it. I really like the head piece, the net sides and the hat/cap attached on the inside to help keep the headpiece on. Of course it does shed, but for the price... 100% worth it.Was this review helpful to you?Monster Responds...We're delighted that you enjoyed our Kid's Huggy Wuggy Poppy Playtime Prestige Costume! Height 54" | Size Size 10/12My 7yr old is tall and skinny but I ordered up (10/12) bc Halloween is usually chilly where we live and she may wear thick clothes under it. The costume is perfect! I wish I had a video of her reaction when she opened it. She was so excited and wears it daily!! I included a picture of her and "Wednesday Addams" lolBottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. Was this review helpful to you? - Huggy WuggyBy avraham yosefi | January 22, 2026

The costume itself is a decent quality. The eyes and the sides of the head are mesh, so should do well for airflow.
