The Men's Deluxe Army of Darkness Ash Williams Costume is an officially licensed adult costume set that includes a tattered shirt, faux leather holster, and a detailed glove designed for fans of the cult horror-comedy classic.
Ash Williams did not choose the life of a medieval demon-slaying hardware store employee. The life chose him, he handled it poorly for a while, and then he handled it magnificently. That arc deserves a costume that actually does the character justice, and this one brings the whole disheveled, one-handed-but-still-winning look together without asking you to shop in three different places.
Design & Details
The in-house design team clearly spent time with the source material here, nailing the exact chaotic silhouette of a man who has been through several time periods and is done explaining himself. The brown, poly twill shirt has one long sleeve and one non-sleeve, complete with a tattered look and button-down front. It is specific in a way that matters.
The faux leather holster comes with a metal buckle and size-adjusting holes so it fits like it belongs there. The jersey knit and foam glove features sublimated graphics that bring the mechanical hand look home without requiring any actual chainsaw attachment. This is the considerate version of commitment.
