Women's Plus Size French Maid Costume
As it turns out, the reason behind the whole new look of French Maid costumes came from the idea that the French can can dancers were a little more scandalous than the Americans wanted them to be. They showed off a little too much skin when they lifted their skirts to dance. Eventually we started to have shows with much shorter skirts and more skin revealed to make fun of their promiscuous dancing. After that we just decided to keep them around for a while. The maid uniform has made it into many more parts of culture too. Is there a murder mystery going on in the mansion? Chances are it was either the maid or the butler who did it. That or Colonel Mustard, but he's just a sketchy character in general. We don't blame them too much though. After all, the only thing they do day in and day out is clean, clean, and clean a little more while their master gets to hang out, and do whatever he wants. Sometimes a girl needs to have a little fun here and there! They've already got the cute outfit. Now it's just wasted on the creepy old paintings she dusts in the hallways.
We're not saying you have to get away with murder to have a good time as a French maid. When you've got these killer good looks, that won't be necessary at all. Just be sure to sneak out late at night when the master is asleep, so you can have the time of your life getting up to no good, and best of all, not cleaning for once! Remember that the front door creaks a lot, because it's an old mansion. Try using the cellar door instead!
