Why are all these people going on about sunshine? Do they somehow enjoy that giant ball of fire in the sky that's slowly baking them in their own skin? That makes ice melt, water evaporate, and parches the earth if over-exposed?!
What nonsense. You know better, don't you? Yes, you know the comfort of the dark. Cool and calm, the dark is perfect for anything you might need to do. A spell or two, a transformation, a little vampire action, some haunting, or maybe just lounging about? Definitely the dark. And what lighting is best for brooding, contemplating revenge, or feeling morose? The darkness of course. Why? Well because it's secretive. It's perfect for dramatic mood lighting. It's amazing to sleep in, or cuddle in (particularly if you don't want to see what you're cuddling). Yes, we're with you, darkness is the best lighting choice there is.
And if you're going to be a mistress of the dark, then you'll need the appropriate outfit. Our Plus Size Miss Darkness Costume ought to be perfect. It's a full length dress with long sweeping sleeves made of black lace. There's glitter, a basic under layer, and a zipper up the back. This little number will be perfect for reclining on a chaise lounge whilst surrounded with dripping wax candles and drinking a red beverage while surrounded by darkness. Sounds inviting, doesn't it? We thought you'd like it.

- Mad about Morticia!By Anonymous | August 24, 2017Our last name is Adams & so our 'alter egos' are Gomez & Morticia Addams. I actually met Morticia/Carolyn Jones decades ago while in banking, which was interesting & fun. We enjoy dressing up to the max for Halloween & this year we're finally going to be Gomez & Morticia! This costume is very nicely made, however, I've removed the flesh-color under-dress (thus only 4 stars) & will wear the lace over an ankle length black poly knit dress with long sleeves which will give me a 'darker' look. The lace is beautiful & sparkly with glitter but I'm going to add black sequins & beads randomly to the lace which will give the costume an even more elegant look. And I'm going to add some elastic near the underside end of the sleeves to slip my wrists into so the sleeves won't be constantly slipping down too far & will be more manageable. Really beautiful costume & I can't wait to dress up for our annual Halloween Party & other Halloween Hauntings we'll be attending. Thanks HalloweenCostumes.com.
