While may details about Barney's life are well known, his career was always a bit of a mystery. Did he work at the Slate Rock and Gravel Company along with Fred. At one point he serves part-time, on the police force with Fred. Since it has never been definitively been stated, you can have fun inventing your own occupation for this popular character!
