New For 2014
Who knew? Some commentators think that zombie stories aren't really about zombies at all. Huh? What's up with that?
The idea is that zombie stories such as Walking Dead are really about how humans react to a disaster or catastrophic situation. The zombies themselves are mindless and only want one thing--to feed on humans. There isn't much to them; they're pretty one-dimensional. But how the humans respond--now there's a story!
Some people can't deal with it, and don't survive. Others take control of a situation and maybe find strength within themselves that they didn't know they had. Everybody has to learn how to cooperate and work together so they can survive. Could you kill your best friend, like Rick did? Would you be able to make use of walkers, like Michonne? Or stand up to a tyrannical governor like Tyreese?
If you think you've got what it takes to survive the zombie outbreak, get one of our officially licensed Walking Dead costumes. You can be Rick, or one of the walkers. It's up to you to figure out how to make it in a terrifying post-apocalyptic world!
