Height 48 | Weight 53 | Size SmallMy son just turned 7 and the size small was a great fit on him. I ordered two sizes because I wasn't sure where he would land. He's just about 48 inches and in first grade. I ordered this for career day, and it's adorable. It looked great on him. Unfortunately, after only one wear, there was a hole in one of the legs. It was on the seam so it could be repaired by a tailor, but the quality is not what I expected. I realize it's a kid costume, but I would expect it to last more than one wear!Was this review helpful to you?

It was well-made overall. The pants and jacket are a nice weight, actual material (not super thin slippery polyester junk like you usually see on costumes), straight seams, finished hems. My son is tall and thin, and usually wears a size 12 slim in pants and 12 -14 in tops. The size Large fit him well. The ordering and shipping process was easy, and it arrived on time. My son wears a 12-14. I got him the extra large. The pants are really long, but that's okay. I'd rather hem them than be too short. The jacket is much more narrow, but the sleeves are really long. The hat needs elastic in it. The band is pretty small.Was this review helpful to you?

Size SmallNice chefs costume! Seems well made! My daughter can wear anywhere from a 4-6t so we initially ordered XS and it was TINYYYY. So I ordered this costume for my son. He usually wears a size 8. I used the given size chart and measured him in his shirt and out of his shirt. His measurements lined up with a size S. So I ordered that and it was too small. The shirt was too snug. The pants were the perfect length but also snug, The hat didn't fit at all. It is a fitted hat, and it's not adjustable in the back to accommodate for people with larger heads. I just ordered a size medium in the mail. Hopefully, that one will fit.
