Darth Vader Helmet Contest: Auction Preview

Darth Vader's iconic helmet has long been used as a base for artistic interpretation, most famously with the Vader Project. Now, HalloweenCostumes.com proudly presents 24 authentic replica Darth Vader helmet art pieces that will be auctioned with proceeds benefiting two local Minnesota charities, The Midwest Art Catalyst and The Miracle League of North Mankato. The Midwest Art Catalyst is a nonprofit organization that creates, promotes and supports local artistic and musical events and ideas. The MWAC has sponsored a range of activities, from children's summer art programs to showcases for local musicians. The Miracle League of North Mankato presents Fallenstein field, which is the only barrier-free handicapped and wheelchair accessible softball/baseball field in Minnesota built for children and adults will all types of disabilities. The field was built to National Wheelchair Softball Association (NWSA) specifications and is home base for the Miracle League of North Mankato, a recreational wheelchair softball league. They will use the Darth Vader Helmet Art Contest donation to sponsor more children with disabilities and to purchase new equipment. Visit their website to learn more.
