My favorite Halloween memory has to be the last year I went trick or treating. It was my senior year in High School. It was perfect weather for the occasion and I got to spend that last night with my best friends.  I would give anything to go back in time and just be a kid again.

My favorite Halloween memory was when i was small, i went with a group of kids in my neighborhood every year trick or treating. Well this one year, well definitely a year for tricks because we got to the one house... (I thought there was something "off" about the strange man by the house so i did not approach it) (but...) my friends did.. Come to find out the man scared the pants out of my friends and they ran down the hill without their candy! It made for a great photo opp and i always get to tease them about even years and years after the fact! ps. shared for optional entry - https://www.facebook.com/holamslisameola

My favorite memory is from 5th Grade. My school partnered 5th grade classes with kindergarden classes. We would work together to discourage drugs and such. We then dressed up and got candy from many local businesses in the town. I love kids so it was fun to see their smiles while coloring and getting candy together! Also entered on twitter- @bjj50

When I was 15. I'm 28 now. It was my first Halloween with the man I now call my husband. I was a cat and he went as a woman. Someone spilled beer on my tail. I still have the tail hanging in my car. It was the best Halloween ever!

My favorite Halloween memory is when I was little and my Mom would drive us around to each of the neighbor's houses to trick or treat. Then, when I got older, my parents would take me to my friends house (since she lived in a more populated area) and I'd get to walk around with her and trick or treat - I got candy and time to hang out with my friend! There was this one house on the hill above her's that always had a GREAT haunted graveyard setup on their lawn too! Fog machine, creepy fortune teller, tombstones, the works! Still love that house!

In 2007 I was pregnant with my first child. I wanted nothing more than to have the baby on Halloween. Well I was two weeks late so my dr scheduled an apt with my husband and I to discuss an induction. She said do you have a date in mind. I looked at my husband and said Halloween. The Dr laughed and looked at both of us. My husband replied that I was serious.  Again the dr laughed and said what are you going to name the baby "Jason"? The induction was scheduled for the 31st. My daughter decided to come a day early but on Halloween she was dressed head to toe in Halloween attire in the nursery at the hospital.

I think it was the year that my parents and my older siblings dressed up with me and my younger sister. My mom was a school girl, my dad was a football coach, my brothers dressed up as a Jedi and a girl, and my sister dressed up as an 80's chick. I dressed up as a vampire, and my little sister was a devil with a red wig. That was so much fun. =)

My Favorite memory of Halloween is a Halloween Party my husband and I threw. We decorated our entire downstairs of the house. We did a performance in the first room when people walked in. It was an indoor haunted house. We decorated the walls with black trash bags and had blood and gore everywhere. Needless to say no one wanted to use the downstairs bathroom they were too scared of the decorations in there. It was amazing!

My favorite Halloween memory would have to be having huge Halloween party at my house with my sisters and mom and just the weeks of preparation that went into the whole thing. We decorated the ENTIRE house, had themed food like witch finger cookies, and witches brew (apple cider),  and transformed our living room into the scene of a car accident for some games with a bon fire in the backyard as well as bobbing for apples. It was so much fun and I've always wanted to do it again. It was something that I will always remember and cherish. Because Halloween is my favorite holiday!

My dad was very much "in to" Halloween and decided to scare the poop out of me.  I must have been 7-8 yrs old.  He went to a barbershop, gathered up clippings of hair and pasted all of this hair on his face, neck and hands.  He growled down the hall and came out chasing after me!  I ran so hard that I completely knocked the recliner over on it's backside.

My favorite Halloween memory was exchanging vows with the woman I love on Sunday, October 31st, 2004. We both dressed in the costumes we wore at the Halloween party where we first met, and every year, we return to the gazebo where the ceremony took place in different themed outfits to take pictures. (Most of them are still on MySpace, but I intend to move them all to Facebook ASAP).

When I was about 8 years old I remember I was a cabbage patch kid. I can still remember the smell of the plastic mask, and the feeling of the classic 80's vinyl on my skin. Half way through trick or treating my costume split(like most of them did) but that didnt stop me. So excited about my loot I kept on going, by the end My costume was only on by one arm sleve. I dont think I really even ate the candy, just the excitement and thrill of trick or treating was enough for me!

I have many favorite memories of halloween. My most favorite would probably be decorating the house with my mom. It was always lots of fun, we decorated the whole porch area, and made a bum out of old clothes and we stuffed him with leaves and other things. Our costumes were always really neat and we make most of them too. The town i grew up in had a halloween parade which as a kid i could not wait to go to, everyone would line the parade route with parked cars the day before and then sit and watch the next night. We gots lots of candy (or so i thought) thrown to us there. My Dad always walked all us kids around trick or treating and as i take my children around trick or treating the crip cool air and the smell of the fallen leaves always reminds me of those times! My favorite time of the year!!

My favorite Halloween memory was in 2007, my husband and I were pregnant with our first child.  I wanted nothing more than to have my baby on Halloween since that is my favorite Holiday.  I was two weeks late and we had an apt with my dr.  As we sat in her office it was determined that I needed to schedule an induction.  She looked at my husband and I and said "do you have a date in mind?".  I responded, October 31st, she looked at my husband and I and said "you do realize that is Halloween? No one wants a baby on Halloween." My husband responded and said "you don't know my wife, she wants a Halloween baby."  The Dr. laughed and said "are you going to call this baby JASON?".

Well, my beautiful daughter decided to come on her own October 30th, but on Halloween in the Nursery of the Hospital she was in costume.  The nurses all commented on how they don't see that every day.  It was the best Halloween ever.

My favorite Halloween memory is when I took my boy Tucker, who is a certified therapy dog to a Halloween fashion show at a nursing home.  Tucker was dressed as green grapes, I blew up 25 green balloons and pinned them on a shirt and put it on him and then I was dressed up as purple grapes done the same way.  Everyone thought it was so cute and funny, we got the most laughs and loudest applause.  Believe or not everyone know who we were the "Fruit of the Loom Grapes."  To this day we still dress up like the grapes.  Now there are grape costumes, I sure could have used one of them for myself about 5 years ago. I can't decide between 2.

In jr. 1st (in all my years I've come to the conclusion that my school was and is the only school that had (has) jr. 1st.  It is literally just a grade between Kindergarten and 1st.  I skipped K and went to jr. 1st, my brother was young so he went k-jr 1st-1st...) I was a care bear, a friend of my grandma's made the costume, it was a mascot head then a pink sleeper with a white belly sewn onto it, then a rainbow sewn onto the belly and a heart and tail sewn unto the butt, it was cute, then I got to school that day and a boy had the exact same costume (except he was bedtime bear) made by the same woman, cause his mom and her were friends too.  We walked together all day cause we matched.  It's fun being a 6 year old.

My oldest child's first Halloween was when she was 6 weeks old.  We got her dressed up and drove an hour to her grandpa's house as a surprise.  He took her around the neighborhood to show her off to all his friends, it was really sweet, she was a tiger.

My favorite Halloween memory is the year I got the bejeezus scared out of me while I was trick or treating. I was 4 years old, and went to "THE" house at the end of the cul-de-sac. I approached the porch, and speculated whether the man sitting on the bench was real or not. The lady handed me the candy and as I was walking down the driveway, the man jumped and said boo...I dropped my bag, left all of my trick or treat loot in that driveway, took off running and never looked back. That was such a thrill, and since that day, Halloween has been my holiday!

My favorite Halloween memory is when my siblings and I all went trick-or-treating in my neighborhood when we were little and there was a huge torrential downpour. The streets were 100% empty because everyone was trying to avoid the rain but my parents let us keep trick-or-treating and we got soaked! We got all the best candy from every house because we were the only kids on the streets! All of our makeup from our costumes was running down our face and we all had colds the next week but it was so worth it and remains one of my favorite memories to this day! : )

Favorite halloween memory is growing up an getting together with all my cousins in the handmade costume our grandmother made for all 10 of us and tricking treating al night.  We all got so many comments on how great the costumes were.  You can't find anything like that nowadays.  How I miss the times! ;)
