Unlike certain franchises that seem to never end (The Land Before Time 14?! Now That's What I Call Music! 89?!?!), Mario Party is one pop culture staple we will forever welcome new editions of. In fact, we are practically giddy that Mario Party 10 was released for the WiiU earlier this week, and we fully plan to spend the weekend swimming in a gleeful sea of new brand minigames. Purim customs include a festival of food, song and dance, the giving of gifts to charity, and (our favorite part) the wearing of costumes! The story of Purim comes from the biblical Book of Esther. Queen Esther and her cousin Mordecai triumphed over the evil plot of the king’s wicked advisor, Haman, and the Jewish people of ancient Persia were saved. Hamantaschen cookies, which represent Haman’s tricorn hat, are traditionally served and given as gifts during the celebration.

The new movie Minions is set to hit theaters in July and we can’t contain our excitement any longer. Seriously, who doesn’t love watching little Minions dressed up as the Village People, singing and dancing to “YMCA?"
